Since I didn't have nothing to do, I kept alive with a rhyme or two
Here's a story about a gangster and a priest, in other words an angel and a beast
Two opposites to say the least, one was violence, the other was peace

The gangster came out from the Pinta he was looking for some of that chiva
You wanna get high, you wanna to fly, you wanna drug so the time will pass by
And after that he went to his barrio, he hadn't seen his homies in a while
He came across a new generation, he was shocked by the population
He didn't see none of the OG's, I don't know these fools and they don't know me
Until he asked them, and they said "You ain't gonna like it but your homies are dead"
He felt alone in this small world, he didn't have no home, prison or girls
He was alone, to say the least but this is one part of the gangster and the priest

On the other side of town lived the man with the collar, all the homies, you all met the Father
People trip 'cause he used to do miracles, you don't believe me but listen here it goes
One night he was going to the park, it was late and very dark
No one around, you could say he was alone, is that right homies, I don't think so
The gangster, yeah, remember him? Well he was searching for another damn victim
Like a wolf hunting a deer he creeped up slow until he was real near, he said
"Ey, give me a feria perra, make it quick, or I'll shoot ya"

The father looked at him straight in his eyes, without fear he asked him
"Why are you afraid to ask me if it's my money you want I will gladly give you
And if you need a homie I'm here, now you know me
So take my money, and I'll run, but don't forget you're with the Father and the son
The gangster tripped and disappeared, after a while he felt kinda weird
But it didn't stop him from coming the next night, he still dreamed of the bucks on The Price is Right

He returned, was concerned of the fact he's about to learn the priest came back
The gangster caught back up on his tracks he pointed the gun and was about to attack
When all of a sudden, you hear the father say "Drop the gun, and walk my way"
Say shawly, "I cannot rob your failure, I need it quick 'cause I need my bill yeah, so give it here just like yesterday
And make it quick and I'll be on my way", the Father grabbed him and he showed him
His own neighbourhood tat and told him, "I was once a homie too, yeah
I was hard, just like you but I found the light and I found a friend so let's take a trip up to Heaven"
They disappeared from the park that night, some people say they found the light
I guess the priest showed the gangster what love was, even gangsters need someone to love, yeah

Eines Nachts ging er zum Park, es war spät und sehr dunkel
Niemand da, man könnte sagen, er war allein, stimmt das, Homies? Ich glaube nicht
Der Gangster, yeah, erinnerst du dich an ihn? Nun, er suchte nach einem weiteren verdammten Opfer
Wie ein Wolf, der ein Reh jagt, schlich er sich langsam an, bis er ganz nah war, er sagte

Der Vater sah ihm direkt in die Augen, ohne Angst fragte er ihn
"Warum hast du Angst, mich zu fragen? Wenn es mein Geld ist, das du willst, gebe ich es dir gerne
Und wenn du einen Homie brauchst, ich bin hier, jetzt kennst du mich
Also nimm mein Geld, und ich werde rennen, aber vergiss nicht, du bist beim Vater und dem Sohn"
Der Gangster flippte aus und verschwand, nach einer Weile fühlte er sich irgendwie komisch
Aber das hielt ihn nicht davon ab, nächste Nacht wiederzukommen, er träumte immer noch von den Dollars bei 'Der Preis ist heiß'
"Dieser Cholo, dem ist alles scheißegal, selbst wenn er einen armen Vater [Padre] bestiehlt" yeah
