Mr. I-don't-care

I smoke something pretty average, and I've had another fairly typical day.
I have a lot of free time, or at least enough to spend an unremarkable amount of money.
My tastes are fairly bland, but I'm also kind of a dick.
I teeter on the edge of apathy, like I do with most things, and it's been another typical year.

In this relatively ordinary city of Taipei, there are women who are pretty average too.
I've slept with a few of them, in pretty average positions.
I watch unremarkable TV and eat pretty standard crap.
I write pretty mediocre lyrics and make promises that I don't really intend to keep.

My nightlife is rather uneventful, and I drink fairly typical alcohol.
I listen to unoriginal music and get into pretty run-of-the-mill trouble when I'm drunk.
I have fairly typical dreams and frequent bouts of despair.
I wear pretty ordinary clothes and my mind is pretty empty.

I'm pretty much a complainer. I say pretty standard things to complain about.
It's pretty much time to go back to my pretty average home.
It's pretty obvious what's going on here, so let's just call it a day.
So let's keep going, feeling our way through the darkness. What difference does it make?
