When I noticed, it was starting to get light outside. The movie rerun was over.
You were propping up your head and had waited for so long that your mouth was hanging open as you slept.
Chuckling, I yawned.
You called my name in your sleep.
It was simple, but it made me a bit happy.
Tomorrow, you'll probably have forgotten it.
You look cute when you're sleeping soundly. That's what I told you.
Your brow furrowed at that, and I chuckled once more.
The funny and the adorable side of you made me smile despite myself.
You started talking to me as you watched TV. What was important was probably not the conversation itself,
but that you were testing whether I would choose soccer or you.
And so I listened attentively.
If I gave off-hand replies, you would get in a bad mood,
and the TV would be turned off.
The more I learn about you, the more
I have come to be filled with a gentle feeling.
I want you to know that you don't have to test me that way. I will always
listen closely to what you have to say.
You're certainly capricious and cause me trouble,
but you're someone only I can handle. At least, I want to believe that.
