Σπίθες και φωτιές ξεπηδάνε απο παντού
ειν′το πανηγύρι του τρελού χωριού
Ο Στάθης κι η Ελίζα βουτάν απο ψηλά
κρύα τα νερά, ζεστή όμως η καρδιά

Δεν δεν έχουμε μυαλό
δεν ειμαστε καλά
φωνάζει το χωριό
τρελό από χαρά

Στημένο σταφυλάκι λευκό και Συριανό
κανείς του δεν αφήνει ποτήρι αδειανό
Αρχίζει στροβιλίζει ο κυκλικός χορός
Γυρίζει όλη την πλάση ο οίνος ο λευκός
