Cuando el Venga

"¿Acaso Dios no hará justicia a sus escogidos que
Claman a Él día y noche?
¿Acaso tardará en responderles?
Os digo que no tardará en hacerles justicia.
Pero cuando venga el Hijo del Hombre,
¿Hallará fe en la tierra?" S. Lucas 18: 7-8.

Sólo Él salió en defensa del acusado,
Se ofreció a cumplir condena en su lugar,
Ignorando las ofensas, entregó su libertad,
Pero en cambio, cuando él vuelva, ¿qué hallará?

Comenzó de carpintero en una aldea,
Desde niño sorprendió su integridad,
Sus valores tan extraños, su obsesión por la verdad,
La pureza en su mirada de cristal.

Rechazó cualquier corona y vivió para sembrar,
Cultivando corazones y enseñando a perdonar,
Porque el árbol, cuando es bueno, buenos frutos
Siempre da...
... sin embargo, cuando Él venga, ¿qué hallará?

Siendo rico se hizo pobre y vulnerable,
Siendo Dios se hizo un humilde servidor,
Siendo Rey se hizo soldado, se hizo carne de cañón,
Siendo libre se hizo esclavo por amor.

Repartió entre mil hambrientos su amistad y su
Calor,
Protegió a los extranjeros y jamás los rechazó,
Y a los que le recibieron, con su sangre los selló,
Prometió que volvería y se marchó.

Poco importan los detalles, cómo y cuándo volverá,
Porque sea como sea, todo ojo le verá,
La pregunta verdadera aún está sin contestar:
Cuando el Hijo del Hombre venga, ¿qué hallará?

When He Comes

"Will God not do justice to His elect who
Cry to Him day and night?
Will He delay to answer them?
I tell you that He will answer them swiftly.
Nevertheless when the Son of Man comes,
Will He find faith on the earth?" S. Luke 18: 7-8.

Only He came to the defense of the accused,
He offered to serve his sentence in his place,
Ignoring the offenses, He surrendered his freedom,
But instead, when He returns, what will He find?

He began as a carpenter in a village,
From childhood He surprised with his integrity,
His strange values, his obsession with truth,
The purity in his crystal gaze.

He rejected any crown and lived to sow,
Nurturing hearts and teaching to forgive,
Because a tree, when it is good, gives good fruit
Always...
... however, when He comes, what will He find?

Being rich, He became poor and vulnerable,
Being God, He became a humble servant,
Being King, He became a soldier, He became cannon fodder,
Being free, He became a slave for love.

He shared his friendship and his
Warmth among a thousand hungry people,
He protected the foreigners and never rejected them,
And to those who received Him, He sealed them with His blood,
He promised that He would return and He left.

The details matter little, how and when He will return,
Because no matter how it is, every eye will see Him,
The real question is still unanswered:
When the Son of Man comes, what will He find?
