La forza dell'indignazione
Aveva scosso quel flusso
Dei pensieri senza corpo.
Il rapimento era sbilenco e
Di un colore indefinito.
La testa appesa.
Il tempo perso.
E un grande uncino adeguato
Come spina dorsale.
E in qualche istante speciale un brivido
Dipinse la smorfia dello sdegno
E uno schiocco alle emozioni
Riscaldó dal freddo.

Le narici che ingoiano nausea
Ed espellono fiele,
Gli occhi che giurano abbandono,
Per il cervello che
Bolle per il fuoco in superficie:
L'indignazione ha questa faccia e
Indossa stivali neri come la pece
Per schiacciare le tentazioni.

La malia dell'indignazione
Ha dunque scosso quel flusso
Dei pensieri senza corpo.
E un sacro paonazzo ardore
Ha schiacciato quei colori lontani e,
Ha acceso di rosso scarlatto
Il pulviscolo delle impressioni.

Lunghe mani bianche e sottoli,
Nervose di candore
Schiaffeggiano l'aria malata:
Sublima il buongusto e
S'accascia la comune opinione.

L'indignazione è rara (quella vera).
Ed io odio il carcere.

The blaze of impressions, pt. II

The force of indignation
Had shaken that flow
Of bodiless thoughts.
The rapture was lopsided and
Of an indefinite color.
The head hung down.
The time wasted.
And a suitable large hook
As a backbone.
And in some special moment a shiver
Painted the grimace of disdain
And a click of emotions
Warmed up from the cold.

Nostrils that swallow nausea
And spit out bile,
Eyes that swear abandonment,
For the brain that
Boils for the fire on the surface:
Indignation has this face and
Wears pitch-black boots
To crush temptations.

The spell of indignation
Has therefore shaken that flow
Of bodiless thoughts.
And a sacred purple-red ardor
Has crushed those distant colors and
Has lit up scarlet red
The dust of the impressions.

Long, white, and delicate hands,
Nervous with candor
Slap the unhealthy air:
Sublimates good taste and
Common opinion collapses.

Indignation is rare (the real one).
And I hate prison.
