A Small Stage

In the heart of the festival grounds, there exists a humble stage,
Though it may not hold the stars, emotions it can engage.
The sound engineer, a rocker, sleeps through the show.
To be honest...this little stage makes my heart ache so.
Usually, only six hippies sit before it in the lotus position.
You don't gain fans simply for having a smaller dimension.
The lighting is a joke, and the ancient speakers hum,
The little stage is sick of it all, dreaming of a time to come,
To stand tall and bask in the spotlight's embrace,
Little stage, that's why I dedicate this verse to your case.
On the main stage play the Foo Fighters and YouTube,
On the little stage, usually just a didgeridoo.
