雨上がりのアスファルトの道端に花が咲いてる
たどり着いたその場所で 風に身を任す様に
踏切の向こうでカゲロウが揺れている

もしここで生まれていたなら どんな僕になってただろう
港を出て行く船を 国道のずっとその先を
切ない気持で見つめていたのだろうか

ここにある喜びと悲しみに触れたら
今より素直になれるかな

歩道橋の下の線路を夕暮れの列車が過ぎる
どこかの街の海辺を 夜を照らす月の下を
家路につく人 旅立つ人達を乗せて

それぞれが描いてる幸せの形
今無性に君に会いたい

何かを置き去りにしたまま時は季節と共に行く
かつて抱いた憧れ 幻の様な夏の日々
一人で佇むいつかの僕を残して

The Mayfly

A flower blooms beside the road on the asphalt after the rain
At the place where I arrived, like entrusting myself to the wind
Mayflies are fluttering beyond the railroad crossing

If I had been born here, what kind of person would I have been
Seeing the departing ship from the port and the distant highway

Carrying people returning home and travelers
