Grüße aus der Flut

Der Mensch lebt nicht von Brot allein
Manchmal muss es auch ein bisschen Luft und Liebe sein
Sagte er und ich, ich fand das stimmt, drum schlug ich ein
Und was dann kam war wunderschön
Hatte nur die Eigenschaft zu schnell vorbei zu gehen
Und auf einmal fingen raue Winde an zu wehen.

Grüße aus der Flut, Feder steckt im Hut, Steine auf dem Weg
Aber die meisten davon hab ich selbst gelegt
Oh, ich bin okay, ich hab zwei Schrammen mehr, eine tut noch weh
Doch du kannst sicher sein dass ich nicht untergeh′.

Der Teufel stellte sich nicht vor
War nur ein Gefühl oder ne Stimme nah am Ohr
Hab' ihn erst erkannt als ich den Überblick verlor
Und was jetzt da ist ist nicht schön
Es hat auch nicht die Eigenschaft zu schnell vorbei zu gehen
Manches was ich hatte, kann ich jetzt erst richtig sehen.
