Für seine Mutter war das eine gemeine Welt.
Sie hatte kein Geld war auf sich alleine gestellt.
Hatte nur die beiden Kinder, denn der Ehetraum war aus,
Endete als Horrortrip im Fraunhaus.
Weil Vater nie klarkam, als er betrunken aus der Bar kam.
Sie hatten Angst vor ihm, die er nicht wahrnahm.
Dann seine Wut an ihr ausließ.
Die Realität nicht wahrhaben wollte, als sie ihn verließ.
Für Mutter gab es kein zurück, Vater blieb allein zurück,
Allein geweint, zerbrach sein Glück, stück für stück,
Durch seinen inneren Feind, war er von da an verdammt allein zu sein.
Doch die Schuld allein, lag nicht nur bei ihm.
Auch er hatte sowas nicht verdient.
Es gibt eine Zeit, da hat man überhaupt keine Kraft,
Da wo man gar nichts schafft, gar nichts rafft.
Erst später dann, wenn Zeit vergeht ist man bereit und man versteht,
Es ist fast zu spät, wenn ein rauer Wind weht, aber es geht, immer weiter, wenn es um Familie geht...
Geld war immer knapp, wenn man kein Gewinner ist,
Zusammmen mit seinen Geschwistern nur in einem kleinen Zimmer ist.
Aber so schlimm war es nicht, wie das was dann war,
Als seine Mutter mit einem anderen Mann zusammen war,
Der ein Tyrann war und noch viel ein viel schlimmeres Schwein,
Der schlug sie auch und ihre Kinder noch obendrein.
Der Älteste wollte sich wehren, aber war zu klein.
Er hörte seine Mutter nachts im Flur weinen.
Er fühlte Hass, mehr als das, er wünschte ihm den Tod, nichts sehnlicher als das.
Bis seine Mutter dann zu ihm sprach:
"Junge es gibt immer auch ein danach,
Also chill! Time will tell, du brauchst nur in dein Herz zu sehen,
Bleib wie du bist, so wird der Schmerz vergehen,
Es ist schwer das jetzt so zu nehmen, aber das das so ist, das wirst du sehen".
Aber er wollte nur das sie ihn jetzt verläßt, er haßte ihn wie die Pest
Weil er fühlte wie tief sein Schmerz saß, sich das alles in sein junges Herz fraß.
Er wollte fliehen, zu seinem anderen Vatre ziehen,
Bloß weg von zu Haus, einfach nur raus, er hoffte das alles besser wird wie es war,
Er suchte seine Eltern, wo ist das Liebespaar?
Was geschehen ist ist geschehen die Zeit zurückzudrehen, alles zrückzunehmen, das wird nicht gehen.
Wenn es irgendwann so schlimm wird nicht mehr zu reden, muß es trotzdem immer weitergehen.
Nicht die Kindheit ist das Problem, sogesehen ist falsch, sie als Entschuldigung für alles zu nehmen,
Nur weil sie Scheiße war, dem Vater nicht zu vergeben, für dein verkacktes Leben.
Nein-jetzt muß Schluß sein mit Frusterein, verarbeite die Vergangenheit im Bewußtsein.
Denn eins ist klar-ich wär nicht der, der ich bin, wenn es nicht so gewesen wäre wie es war.
Ich nahm es bis zuletzt nicht war, das die Chance im Unglück letztendlich lag.
Erkennt man das wird′s leichter später.
Väter brechen Söhne, Söhne brechen Väter.
Meine Erkenntnis, die nicht zu ändern ist, nur Augenränder frißt.
Vater im Geißte bin ich bei dir, du warst nicht immer gut für für, aber ich verzeih

Fathers and Sons

For your mother, the world was cruel and mean.
She had no money, all alone on the scene.
Only two children left, the dream of marriage gone,
Ending as a horror trip, in the women's refuge, all alone.
Because father never coped, when drunk from the bar he came.
You were scared of him, a fear he couldn't tame.
Then he unleashed his rage on her,
Refusing reality, when she left, unable to concur.
For mother, there was no return, father stayed behind, all alone,
Crying alone, his happiness shattered, piece by piece, with a moan,
Through his inner enemy, he was damned to be alone from then on.
But the blame alone, didn't just lie with him.
He also didn't deserve something so grim.
There comes a time, when you have no strength at all,
Where you can't achieve anything, can't grasp anything at all.
Only later, when time passes, you're ready and understand,
It's almost too late, when a harsh wind blows, but you can, keep going, when it's about family, you know...
Money was always tight, when you're not a winner,
Together with your siblings, crammed in just one small room, a sinner.
But it wasn't as bad as what came after,
When your mother was with another man, full of laughter,
Who was a tyrant and an even worse swine,
Who beat her and your children, a cruel design.
The eldest wanted to fight back, but was too small.
He heard his mother crying in the hallway, a mournful call.
He felt hate, more than that, he wished him dead, nothing more than that.
Until his mother spoke to him then:
"Boy, there's always an after, again and again,
So chill! Time will tell, you just need to look into your heart,
Stay as you are, the pain will depart,
It's hard to accept it now, but that's how it is, you'll see somehow".
But he just wanted her to leave him now, he hated him like the plague, somehow,
Because he felt how deep his pain sat, eating into his young heart, like a rat.
He wanted to flee, to his other father, to draw,
Just away from home, just out, he hoped everything would be better than before,
He searched for his parents, where is the loving pair?
What happened has happened, turning back time, taking everything back, that won't be fair.
If it ever gets so bad that you can't talk anymore, it still has to go on, that's the lore.
Childhood isn't the problem, to see it that way is wrong, to take it as an excuse for everything, all along,
Just because it was shit, not to forgive your father, for your fucked up life, take a swing.
No - now it must end with frustration, process the past in consciousness, with elation.
Because one thing is clear - I wouldn't be who I am, if it hadn't been the way it was, like a clam.
I didn't realize until the very end that the chance ultimately lay in misfortune, my friend.
If you recognize that, it will be easier later.
Fathers break sons, sons break fathers, like an alligator.
My realization, which cannot be changed, only eats away at the edges, deranged.
