Sauðdrukkinn útí hrauni lá Hallgrímsson Jónas
Og hraut eins og sögunarverksmiðja í Brasilíu
Mamma komdu ekki nálægt með nefið þitt fína
það er nálykt af honum þú gætir fengið klígju

Hann orti um fallega hluti það er hlálegt
Og hellti svo bjór yfir pappírinn og yfir orðið
Gættu þín mamma maðurinn hann er með sýfilis
Og mundu að þegar hann fer skaltu dekka borðið.

Já hræið af Jónasi er sannalega sjórekið
Sjórekið uppá fjörur gullstrandlengjunnar
Sjáðu mamma manninum honum er illt
Hann meikar það ekki og skjálfandi nýstandi hann pyngjuna.
