Arşın kubbelerine adı nurla yazılan,
İsmi semada Ahmet, yerde Muhammed olan,
Yedi katlı göklerde Hak cemalini bulan,
Evvel ahir yolcusu, ya Hz. Muhammed!

Sağanak nur yağmurları inerken yedi kattan,
O gece sendin gelen ezel kadar uzaktan.
Melekler her zerreye müjde verirken Hak'tan,
O gece sendin gelen ya Hz. Muhammed!

Güneşler o gecenin nuruna secde ederken,
Yıldızlar, meşk içinde kâinat vecd ederken,
Bütün hamdü enalar yüce Rabb'e giderken,
O gece sendin gelen ya Hz. Muhammed!

Kâbe'de şirk taşları, putlar yere dönerken,
Cehalet bayrakları birer birer inerken,
Bin yıllık küfür ateşi ebediyyen sönerken,
O gece sendin gelen ya Hz. Muhammed!

O gece Save gölü mucize ile kururken,
Kisra saraylarında sütunlar savrulurken,
Arzdan arşa âlemler, rahmetini bulurken,
O gece sendin gelen ya Hz. Muhammed!

Sen ki doğum kundağı ak bulutla örülen,
Doğar doğmaz Allah'a secde emri verilen,
Alnında, âlemlere rahmet tacı görülen,
Kâinat efendisi ya Hz. Muhammed!

Sen ki güzel huyların, ahlâkın meş'alesi;
Sabır doruklarında, beşerin en yücesi;
Senin cennet mekânın, fakirlerin hanesi...
Gönüller hazinesi ya Hz Muhammed!

Sana şahit sonsuzlar, ezelden beri her an.
Sana şahit âyetler, her zerre ve her mekân.
Senden uzak kalmaya nasıl dayanır ki can?
Sen her canda canansın ya Hz. Muhammed!

Miraç gecesi bir bir açılıyorken gökler,
Seni selâmlıyorken her katta peygamberler,
Öyle bir an geldi ki durdu bütün melekler,
Hakk'a yalnız yürüdün ya Hz. Muhammed!
Hakk'a yalnız yürüdün ya Hz. Muhammed!

Gönül gözü görmeyen, can gözünü neylesin.
Dünyada dönmeyen dil, mahşerde ne söylesin.
Mevlâ bütün beşeri, ümmetinden eylesin.
Sancağının altında ya Hz. Muhammed!

Hak ile kul vuslatı, o ilâhî düğünde,
Hiç kimseden kimseye fayda olmayan günde,
Hasatları has tartan o terazi önünde,
Noksanlarım bağışlat ya Hz. Muhammed!

Biliriz ki hükmü yok bu dünya nimetinin.
Gönüldür sermayesi ahiret servetinin.
Sana selât ve selâm gönderen ümmetinin,
Cennetler şahidi ol ya Hz. Muhammed!

That Night You Came

Whose name is written in light on the domes of the Throne,
Whose name is Ahmet in the heavens, Muhammed on earth,
Who found the beauty of the Truth in the seven heavens,
The traveler of the beginning and the end, O Prophet Muhammed!

As torrential rains of light poured down from seven heavens,
That night, you came from a distance as far as eternity.
Angels announced the good news to every particle from the Truth,
That night, you came, O Prophet Muhammed!

As the suns prostrated to the light of that night,
Stars, in a dance of love, the universe in ecstasy,
All praises and hymns rose to the Almighty Lord,
That night, you came, O Prophet Muhammed!
That night, you came, O Prophet Muhammed!

The stones of idolatry in Kaaba, idols fell to the ground,
Flags of ignorance fell one by one,
The fire of disbelief, burning for a thousand years, was extinguished forever,
That night, you came, O Prophet Muhammed!

That night, Lake Sava miraculously dried up,
Pillars in the palaces of Chosroes were scattered,
From earth to heaven, the worlds found your mercy,
That night, you came, O Prophet Muhammed!

You whose birth cradle was woven with white clouds,
Who was commanded to prostrate to Allah as soon as you were born,
On whose forehead, the crown of mercy for the worlds was seen,
The master of the universe, O Prophet Muhammed!

You are the torch of good manners, the beacon of morality;
At the peak of patience, the highest of humanity;
Your place in paradise is the house of the poor...
The treasure of hearts, O Prophet Muhammed!

The infinites are witness to you, every moment since eternity.
Verses are witness to you, every particle and every place.
How can the soul bear to stay away from you?
You are beloved in every soul, O Prophet Muhammed!

On the night of Miraj, as the heavens opened one by one,
Prophets on every level greeted you,
There came a moment when all the angels stopped,
You walked to Allah alone, O Prophet Muhammed!
You walked to Allah alone, O Prophet Muhammed!

He who does not see with the eye of the heart, what use is his physical eye.
The tongue that does not turn in this world, what will it say in the Hereafter.
May Allah make all humanity your ummah.
Under your banner, O Prophet Muhammed!

The union of Allah and the servant, in that divine wedding,
On the day when no one benefits from anyone,
Before that scale which weighs the harvests accurately,
Forgive my shortcomings, O Prophet Muhammed!

We know that the blessings of this world have no value.
The heart is the capital of the wealth of the Hereafter.
Of your ummah who send salutations and peace to you,
Be a witness in Paradise, O Prophet Muhammed!
