On allait au bord de la mer
Avec mon père ma soeur ma mère
On regardait les autres gens

On suçait des glaces à l'eau

We had to be careful

We would suck on popsicles
The palaces, the restaurants
We would just walk by

In the morning we would wake up early
On the beach for hours
We would get beautiful tans

We would go to the seaside

And when the waves were calm
We would spend the day at the islands
Except when we couldn't anymore
