Non maledire questo nostro tempo
Non invidiare chi nascerà domani

Don't envy those who will be born tomorrow

The sweet spring always returns
The new life that begins this morning

We swear to those who fell in the street
For their children it will not be so
We want a world made for people
Of which each one can say "it is mine"
Where it is good to work and make love
Where dying is God's will
