سورة المطففين

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
وَيْلٌ لِلْمُطَفِّفِينَ
الَّذِينَ إِذَا اكْتَالُوا عَلَى النَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ
وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَوْ وَزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ
أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُولَٰئِكَ أَنَّهُمْ مَبْعُوثُونَ
لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
كَلَّا إِنَّ كِتَابَ الْفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٍ
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا سِجِّينٌ
كِتَابٌ مَرْقُومٌ
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
الَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ
وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ
إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا قَالَ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
كَلَّا ۖ بَلْ ۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
كَلَّا إِنَّهُمْ عَنْ رَبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَمَحْجُوبُونَ
ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُو الْجَحِيمِ
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
كَلَّا إِنَّ كِتَابَ الْأَبْرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ
كِتَابٌ مَرْقُومٌ
يَشْهَدُهُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ
إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ
عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ يَنْظُرُونَ
تَعْرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ النَّعِيمِ
يُسْقَوْنَ مِنْ رَحِيقٍ مَخْتُومٍ
خِتَامُهُ مِسْكٌ ۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُونَ
وَمِزَاجُهُ مِنْ تَسْنِيمٍ
عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا الْمُقَرَّبُونَ
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا كَانُوا مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يَضْحَكُونَ
وَإِذَا مَرُّوا بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَ
وَإِذَا انْقَلَبُوا إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِمُ انْقَلَبُوا فَكِهِينَ
وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوا إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ لَضَالُّونَ
وَمَا أُرْسِلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ حَافِظِينَ
فَالْيَوْمَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنَ الْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ
عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ يَنْظُرُونَ
هَلْ ثُوِّبَ الْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ

Surat Al-Mutaffifin

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Woe to those who give short measure,
Who, when they take, take in full,
But when they give, give less.
Do they not think that they will be resurrected
On a Great Day,
The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds?
Nay! The record of the wicked is in Sijjin,
And what will make you know what Sijjin is?
It is a written record.
Woe that Day to those who deny,
Who deny the Day of Judgment.
And none deny it except every sinful transgressor.
When Our revelations are recited to him, he says, "Tales of the ancients."
Nay, but what they have earned has covered their hearts.
Nay! They will be veiled from their Lord that Day,
And they will surely enter Hell.
Then it will be said, "This is what you used to deny."
Nay! The record of the righteous is in Illiyun,
And what will make you know what Illiyun is?
It is a written record.
Those nearest to Allah will witness it.
Verily, the righteous will be in bliss,
On couches, they will look.
You will recognize in their faces the radiance of bliss.
They will be given to drink of a pure drink sealed,
The seal of which is musk. And for that let the competitors compete.
And its mixture is of Tasnim,
A spring from which those nearest to Allah drink.
Those who act wickedly used to laugh at those who believed.
And when they passed by them, they winked at each other.
And when they returned to their people, they returned exultant.
And when they saw them, they said, "Indeed, these have gone astray."
But they were not sent over them as keepers.
So today those who believe laugh at the disbelievers,
On couches, they look.
Are the disbelievers recompensed for what they used to do?
