Os Intocáveis

Narrador (introdução): "Os Intocáveis. Dramático filme
Policial de Michael Gustav com o famoso detetive federal
Kid Morengueira, seu fiel ajudante Elliot Ness e sua linda
Secretária Nee Pall View (*), e cujo cenário é a famosa
Década de trinta, quando a Lei Seca tinha fechado todos
Os bares e botecos."

Há quatro meses, ninguém via uma bebida
Nenhum pau-d'água pela rua cambaleava
Ninguém cantava mais O Ébrio do Vicente Celestino
E nem uísque nacional se fabricava

Mas em Chicago um enterro ia passando
Com muitos carros e coroas, desfilando entre orações
São tantos carros que a polícia desconfia
E os federais começam as investigações.

Narrador: "Eram exatamente 12h45 quando soaram os
Alarmes da Penitenciária de Nova Iorque e o chefe de
Polícia mandou oito federais para Chicago."

Kid Moreira vai às casas funerárias
Fica sabendo que Al Capone encomendou o caixão
Falta saber qual é o nome do defunto
Que merecia tanta consideração

Vê quem morreu, olha na lista e nada consta
Ninguém morreu de ontem pra cá e os polícias federais
Cercam as ruas de Chicago e o Morengueira proclama:

Ô, Al Capone, isto assim já é demais!
Vou dar-lhe um banho de metralha, desta não escaparás. Eu vou botar todo esse bando na prisão de Alcatraz.

Narrador: "Eram precisamente 17h43 quando os federais
Descobriram toda a trama criminosa do mais espetacular
Contrabando de bebidas. Oito mil garrafas de uísque
Estavam no meio das coroas. Kid Morengueira mandou
Então que os homens de Elliot Ness atirassem sobre o
Cortejo e acertassem em cheio no defunto."

No tiroteio, os bandidos desertaram
E, solitário, sobre um poste o carro fúnebre bateu
E quando um tiro de metralha fez um rombo no caixão
O contrabando pelas ruas escorreu.

(Só tinha uísque no caixão, mas o defunto não bebeu.)

Enquanto o líquido jorrava, a polícia já cercava
O esconderijo de Al Capone e sua grei
Assim termina Os Intocáveis desta noite
Com a vitória da Justiça e da Lei.

Humphrey Bogart e George Raft eu mesmo encarcerei
Só tenho pena das garrafas que na rua eu quebrei

The Untouchables

Narrator (introduction): "The Untouchables. A dramatic police film
starring Michael Gustav as the famous federal detective
Kid Morengueira, his loyal sidekick Elliot Ness, and his beautiful
secretary Nee Pall View (*), set in the notorious
decade of the thirties, when Prohibition had shut down all the
bars and saloons."

For four months, no one had seen a drink
Not a single drunkard staggered down the street
No one sang Vicente Celestino's "O Ébrio" anymore
And not even national whiskey was being produced

But in Chicago, a funeral procession was passing by
With many cars and wreaths, parading amidst prayers
There are so many cars that the police get suspicious
And the feds start their investigations.

Narrator: "It was exactly 12:45 p.m. when the alarms of the
New York Penitentiary went off, and the police chief sent
eight federal agents to Chicago."

Kid Moreira goes to the funeral homes
He finds out that Al Capone ordered the coffin
He just needs to know the name of the deceased
Who deserved so much consideration

He checks who died, looks at the list, and nothing appears
No one has died since yesterday, and the federal police
Surround the streets of Chicago, and Morengueira proclaims:

Oh, Al Capone, this is too much!
I'm going to give you a shower of bullets, you won't escape this. I'm going to put this whole gang in Alcatraz prison.

Narrator: "It was precisely 5:43 p.m. when the feds
discovered the entire criminal plot of the most spectacular
liquor smuggling operation. Eight thousand bottles of whiskey
were among the wreaths. Kid Morengueira then ordered
Elliot Ness's men to shoot at the procession
and hit the deceased squarely."

In the shootout, the gangsters deserted
And, lonely, the hearse crashed into a pole
And when a machine gun shot made a hole in the coffin
The contraband flowed through the streets.

(There was only whiskey in the coffin, but the deceased didn't drink.)

While the liquid flowed, the police were already surrounding
The hideout of Al Capone and his gang
Thus ends The Untouchables tonight
With the victory of Justice and Law.

Humphrey Bogart and George Raft I myself imprisoned
