نور على مر الزمان تألقا وأضاء للدنيا طريقًا مشرقا
وهدى من الرحمن يهدينا به للصالحات وللمكارم والتقى

هذا كتاب الله أعذب منهلٍ أنعم به من مورد لمن استقى
قد صانه رب العباد بحفظه وحماه حتى لا يضيع ويخلقا

طوبى لمن حفظ الكتاب بصدره فبدا وضيئًا كالنجوم تألقا
وتمثل القرآن في أخلاقه وفعاله فيه الفؤاد تعلقا
وتلاه في جنح الدجى متدبرًا والدمع من بين الجفون ترقرقا
هذي صفات الحافظين كتابه حقًا فكن بصفاتهم متخلقا

يا حافظ القرآن رتل آيه فالكل أنصت للتلاوة مطرقا
يا حافظ القرآن لست بحافظ حتى تكون لما حفظت مطبقا
ماذا يفيدك أن تسمى حافظًا وكتاب ربك في الفؤاد تمزقا؟

يا أمتي القرآن حبل نجاتنا فتمسكي بعراه كي لا نغرقا
ولتجمعي حول الكتاب شتاتنا حتى نزيل تناحرًا وتفرقا
ولتجعليه محـكما في أمـرنا وثقي بوعد الله أن يتحققا

Oh Keeper of the Quran

A light that has shone brightly throughout time, illuminating the world with a radiant path
And a guidance from the Most Merciful, leading us to righteousness, virtue, and piety

This is the Book of God, the sweetest of springs, a blessing from its source for those who drink
The Lord of creation has preserved it with His protection, guarding it so that it would not be lost or distorted

Blessed is he who has memorized the Book in his heart, for he shines brightly like the twinkling stars
And the Quran is reflected in his character and actions, to which his heart is attached
And he recites it in the depths of the night, contemplating it, while tears trickle from between his eyelids
These are the qualities of those who have truly memorized His Book, so adorn yourself with their qualities

Oh keeper of the Quran, recite a verse, for all are listening attentively to the recitation
Oh keeper of the Quran, you are not a keeper until you apply what you have memorized
What good does it do you to be called a keeper, while the Book of your Lord is torn in your heart?

Oh my people, the Quran is the rope of our salvation, so hold fast to its grip so that we may not drown
And gather around the Book, uniting our scattered selves, so that we may dispel conflict and division
And let it be the final authority in our affairs, and trust in the promise of God that it will be fulfilled
