Из ада огненного умолять бежать,

Мой край заснеженных лесов.
Матушка Россия, дай прижаться к груди твоей
Матушка Россия, теплом своим от холодов согрей
Матушка Россия, дух свободный боевой
Матушка Россия, будь со мной
Тем на чужбине нет цены,
Чей разум уцелеет в месиве войны,
Кто честь отчизны защитит;
Кто сам погибнет, но врагов сразит.
Сил мне дай среди огня,
Край юности моей, благослови меня;
За родных, что будут жить,
Не жалко голову сложить.
А теперь гулять будем!
Идите и скажите всем в чужих краях, что Русь жива.

Those in foreign lands are worth nothing,
Whose minds survive the chaos of war,
Who defend the honor of their fatherland,
Who perish themselves but defeat the enemy.
Give me strength amidst the flames,
Land of my youth, bless me.
For the sake of those who will live,
I do not regret sacrificing myself.
So let the festivities begin!
Go forth and tell all in foreign lands that Russia lives,
Let them come visit us without fear.
But should anyone come to us with a sword, they shall perish by the sword.
