Para encubrir el desastre, encundían la nación
Nomás cambiaron el nombre, le llamaron flotación
Un mes y medio después para aumentar la psicosis
El peso nos flotó más pues nos doblaron la dosis

La explicación fue muy fácil y la dieron con sonrisas
Faltan divisas dijeron, de esas que nunca divisas
Con esto se hicieron ricos y se van muy satisfechos
A disfrutar en Cancún, los culpables de los hechos

Informan que el devaluó nos viene desde muy lejos
Y tenemos que creerlo porque somos sus gobernados
Con la moneda tan baja no tenemos pa' calzones
Sin embargo a Costa Rica le prestamos cien millones

En cambio Estados Unidos nos da créditos sin tasa
Pa' tenernos amarrados como cuscas de la casa
Como mercancía barata ya solo queda el trabajo
No quieren subir salarios aunque nos lleve el chamuco
