Noor Wala Aya Hai

نور والا آیا ہے
نور لے کر آیا ہے

سارے عالم میں دیکھو کیسا نور چھایا ہے
الصلوٰۃ والسلام علیک یا رسول اللہ
الصلوٰۃ والسلام علیک یا حبیب اللہ

جب تلک یہ چاند تارے جِھلمِلاتے جائیں گے
تب تلک جشنِ ولادت ہم مناتے جائیں گے

نعتِ محبوب خدا سُنتے سناتے جائیں گے
یا رسول اللہ نعرہ ہم لگا تے جائیں گے ۔

چار جانب ہم دیے گہی کے جلاتے جائیں گے
گھر تو گھر ہم سارے محلّے کو سجاتے جائیں گے

عید میلاد النبی کی شب چراغاں کر کے ہم
قبر، نور ِ مصطفٰے سے جگمگاتے جائیں گے

تم کرو جشنِ ولادت کی خوشی میں روشنی
وہ تمہاری گورِ تیرہ جگمگاتے جائیں گے

The One with Light Has Arrived

The one with the light has come, my love,
Bringing light with him, my dear.

See how the light has spread throughout the world, sweetheart,
Peace and blessings be upon you, O Messenger of Allah.
Peace and blessings be upon you, O Beloved of Allah.

As long as these moon and stars keep twinkling, my beloved,
We will continue to celebrate the birth, my dear.

We will continue to listen to and recite the praises of the Beloved of God, my love,
We will keep chanting "Ya Rasulullah", my dear.

We'll keep lighting ghee lamps everywhere, my beloved,
We'll decorate every house, every neighborhood, my dear.

On the night of Eid Milad un Nabi, we'll illuminate, my love,
We'll keep the graves shining with the light of Mustafa, my dear.

You celebrate the joy of his birth with lights, my beloved,
He will illuminate your dark grave, my dear.
