No quiso saber nada

Nació un día lluvioso llorando con apatía.
Con 2 padres normales que ni se odiaban ni se querían.
La enfermera dijo "que niño más calladito"
Olvidando lo relativos que son los gritos.
Sus 3 primeros años fueron chupetes, pañales,
Vacaciones en un camping y nada reseñable.
"Que raro que no hable ni un papa o mama"
Decían todos, que con el tiempo aún más se asombraban.
Apenas respondía a juegos y parecía siempre ausente.
Pasó por especialistas que decían "se le pasará en breve"
Pero ya en la guardería todo seguía igual.
Callado y aislado sin querer interactuar.
Oía bien pero se hacía el sordo.
No era autista pero pasaba absolutamente de todo.
Los padres desesperados buscaron respuestas
Hasta que el niño hizo gala de una gran inteligencia:

Aprendió un extenso vocabulario en poquísimo tiempo.
Aunque seguía usándolo con cuentagotas.
En el colegio las notas eran de lo más inestables
A veces sacaba excelentes, suspendía otras.
Entre psicólogos y recreos aislado con libros
Dejó de ser el misterioso niño, el indefenso deprimido.
Chavales le golpeaban por su condición de marginal
Pero temían el ingenuo de sus insultos, Así que le dejaron de molestar.
Su estado mental cambió con los años.
La tristeza dió paso a un caparazón de indiferencia total.
Pensando sin tregua fue descubriendo el absurdo del sistema.
Viendo menos sentido a seguir la senda que dicen correcta.
Se sacó el bachiller y abandonó las rejas de las aulas.
"Se que la verdad no está aquí y voy fuera a buscarla"
Luchó con varios movimientos sociales
Pero le asqueaba demasiado el capitalismo en las calles.

Así que planeó una vía de escape
"Antes que morir en Madrid plantaré lechugas y tomates"
Aprendió técnicas de supervivencia y se preparó pa el viaje.
No añoraría nada de la civilización salvaje.

Nunca fue de internet ni de bienes materiales malignos.
"Pa que ir a pubs de estúpidos si tengo sabios libros"
Una vez curtido se dirigió a una lejana montaña
Con su perro, dispuesto a okupar alguna casa abandonada.
La soledad no le supondría ningún problema,
Estaba de sobras entrenado y quería ponerse a prueba.
Ya instalado estuvo bien como nunca había estado.
Consigo mismo, con los árboles y con los pájaros.
El resto está podrido, llevaba tatuado en el alma.
Tendrías que haber visto como con la luna bailaba.
Cuando algún pastor por su huída de la sociedad le preguntaba

Ya lo se todo y no quiero saber nada.

He Didn't Want to Know Anything

He was born on a rainy day, tearing up apathetically,
With 2 normal parents who neither hated nor loved each other.
The nurse said, "What a quiet baby"
Forgetting how relative crying is.
His first 3 years were pacifiers, diapers,
Vacations at a campsite and nothing remarkable.
"How weird that he doesn't say mama or papa"
Everyone said, until they were even more amazed over time.
He barely responded to games and always seemed absent.
He went to specialists who said "it will pass soon enough"
But in nursery school everything was still the same.
Quiet and insulated, not wanting to interact.
He could hear well but pretended to be deaf.
He wasn't autistic but he was absolutely indifferent to everything.
His desperate parents searched for answers
Until the child showed off great intelligence:

He learned an extensive vocabulary in very little time.
Although he still used it sparingly.
At school his grades were very unstable
At times he would get excellent marks, at others failing.
Between psychologists and isolated recesses with books
He stopped being the mysterious child, the helpless depressed one.
Kids would hit him because of his marginal status
But they were afraid of his ingenuous insults. So they stopped bothering him.
His mental state changed with the years.
Sadness gave way to a shell of total indifference.
Constantly thinking, he discovered the absurdity of the system.
Seeing less sense in following the path they tell you is the right one.
He got his high school diploma and abandoned the bars of the classrooms.
"I know the truth is not here and I'm going out to search for it"
He fought with various social movements
But he was too disgusted with capitalism in the streets.

So he planned an escape route
"Before I die in Madrid I'm going to grow lettuce and tomatoes"
He learned survival techniques and prepared for the journey.
He wouldn't miss a thing about savage civilization.

He was never into the internet or evil material goods.
"Why go to pubs full of jerks when I have wise books"
Once he was seasoned, he started out for a faraway mountain
With his dog, ready to squat in some abandoned house.
Solitude wouldn't be a problem for him,
He was more than trained and wanted to test himself.
Once he was settled, he was as great as he had never been.
With himself, with the trees, and with the birds.
The rest is rotten, he had tattooed in his soul.
You should have seen how he would dance with the moon.
When some shepherd would ask him about his fleeing society

I know everything now and I don't want to know anything.

And then he would talk,
