Sofre coração que chega o zóio mareja
Que peleja de missão
Sobre a estola desse homem que clareia
Nos caminhos a visão
A pedra fundamental da nossa Igreja
O sangue, o vinho, a carne e o pão
Pelas mãos de quem trabalha nessa mesa
A transubstanciação

Eu tenho certeza que não há riqueza maior que o amor que há em toda missa
Em cada clamor que esse homem santo leva Deus no canto
Que transforma o coração

Quem busca a esperança no olhar de uma criança
Vê que é importante para um país uma Igreja Santa
E na comunidade onde mora um Padre
O povo vive mais feliz

Às vezes cedo o desejo bate à porta
Vai seguir a vocação
A saudade em seu peito é contratempo
Deus segura em sua mão

O Padre doa o seu viver

What a mighty struggle, this mission
Over the robe of this man, a bright light
Leading the way, a vision
The cornerstone of our Church
Blood, wine, flesh, and bread
By the hands of the one who works at this table

I am certain there is no greater wealth than the love shared in every mass
In every cry that this holy man lifts to God in song
It transforms the heart

Whoever seeks hope in the eyes of a child
Will see how important a Holy Church is to a nation
And in a community graced with a priest
Its people live happier lives

Sometimes at dawn, the call knocks at the door
To follow the vocation
Longing in their heart is a trial
God holds their hand

The priest gives their life
