Der Zweck dieses äh...
Dieses telefonischen Austauschs ist, dass mir zu Ohren gekommen ist
Dass etwas unerwünschter Kram einfach durch die Straßen der Hood treibt...
Nun, um es nicht zu sehr auf die Spitze zu treiben, Martha
Und vielleicht die Worte der Coen Brüder zu borgen
Du mögest denken, was ich dir zu sagen habe, sei etwas seltsam... seltsam... seltsam
Oh, nein, nein, nein Martha, lass mich warnen: Seltsam ist, wenn du einen menschlichen Fuß in deiner Waschmaschine findest
Alles, was ich dir sagen muss, ist nur leicht äh... leicht unregelmäßig
Sieh mal, ich habe einer dieser Beethoven-Klaviersonaten gelauscht
Und sie hat in meinem Kopf ein bestimmtes Gefühl des Pazifismus beschworen
Ich bin vollkommen elastisch pazifistisch, Martha
Überflutet von Liebe für meine Mitmenschen
Doch es bekümmert mein Herz, Mart... während ich diese Träne wegwische
Dass das kakophone Stoßen deines Fußes in meiner Waschmaschine womöglich
Nur den friedlichen Umlauf und die Rotation der Trommel stört
Doch wie gesagt, ich bin ganz Herz, Mart
Und ich trommle nun mit den Fingern auf dem Tisch und stelle mir vor, wie dein Blut
Aus deiner Halsschlagader über meine »Smallbone of Devizes«-Küchenschränke spritzt...
Und die italienischen Fliesen schlichtweg rot färbt

Und china-made Fake-Turnschuhen, wirkt plötzlich unwiderstehlich

Und Rachmaninows zweites Klavierkonzert stellt sich leise auf dem BANG & OLUFSEN bereit!
Und ich strahle Liebe aus, Mart, aus den Tiefen der Kammern meines schlagenden Salvador-Dali-Herzens
