Encara no m'acostumo a no sentir-te a prop,
Quan el fred arriba a casa i encenc foc,
Quan el fred arriba a casa i estic sol.

Qui pogués tenir paraules
Per poder-te dibuixar,
En un poema de set versos
I poder-te'l recitar,
Quan la nit desperti l'alba
I comenci a clarejar
El dia.

Em sento estrany en veure la nit sense estrelles,
Em sento estrany en veure la nit sense tu,
Encara no m'acostumo a sentir en els meus llençols
La fredor que té l'absència del teu cos,
I la buidor que deixa en el meu record.

Qui pogués tenir paraules
Per poder-te dibuixar,
En un poema de set versos
I poder-te'l recitar,
Quan la nit desperti l'alba
I comenci a clarejar
El dia.

I feel strange seeing the day that awakens me,

I still can't get used to not feeling your perfume,
When my thoughts take me so far away,

I feel strange seeing the evening when there's fog,
I feel strange seeing the autumn evenings,
I still can't get used to not feeling you near,
When the cold arrives home and I light a fire,
When the cold arrives home and I'm alone.

If only I had the words
To be able to paint you,
In a seven-line poem
And be able to recite it to you,
When the night awakens the dawn
And begins to illuminate
The day.

I feel strange seeing the night without stars,
I feel strange seeing the night without you,
I still can't get used to feeling in my sheets
The coldness of the absence of your body,
And the emptiness that remains in my memory.

If only I had the words
To be able to paint you,
