I’ll memorize in alphabetical order
The vulgar and scientific names
Of all the birds of America
National Geographic

To forget that I’m bored
I read the dictionary of mythology
And a Deco-swimming pool magazine
Where I draw with a ballpoint pen
The pretty girls in mermaids

And sometimes I come down
Among the humans
I walk in the night
Looking for the face of a friend
