Ta nghiêng tai nghe lại cuộc đời
Thì hãi hùng hoàng hôn chợt tới
Ta nghiêng vai soi lại tình người

Đang mân mê cho đời nở hoa
Chợt bàng hoàng đến kỳ trăn trối
Đang nâng niu cuộc tình lộng lẫy
Bỗng ngỡ ngàng vụt mất trong tay

Ta khổ đau một đời để chết trong tình cờ
Ta tìm nhau một thời để mất nhau vài giờ
Bàn tay làm sao níu một đời vừa đi qua?
Bàn tay làm sao giữ một thời yêu thiết tha?

Mang ơn em trao tình một lần
Là kỷ niệm dù không đầm ấm
Mang ơn em đau khổ thật đầy
Là nắng vàng dù nhốt trong mây

Mang ơn trên cho cuộc đời ta
Vài vạn ngày gió cuồng mưa lũ
Trăm cơn đau một vầng nhang khói
