Whoever hasn't traveled it, is not truly human!
In life's ways, laughter turns to tears!
Now wealthy, they forget their confidants,
And even deceive one another.

The one who loved me also left me
So I resent life for the rest of my existence!
What eyes have ever endured such cold nights!
Beside the bed and blanket, love's breath is far away,
Money changes when it brings on a fit of madness
Leaving bitterness on the path home!

The liquor of the world washes away the bitter taste.
These thoughts weigh upon my journey,
Who do I have left to bring joy,
When I've fallen for the quagmire of the world?
Grass of sorrow and worry grows gray on my lips.

I gaze upon life's reflection in a broken mirror,
Hearing only sadness welling up in my eyes.
I've already passed through that sad chapter.
