Một chiều tôi vừa đến, em đứng bên hàng hiên dưới trận mưa đầu mùa
Đầu trần không đội nón, mang áo mưa thì quên, ướt lạnh run cả người
Muốn mượn em chiếc khăn lau bụi mưa bám mặt mà ngại không dám hỏi
Ngại vì chưa ngỏ ý, chưa biết, chưa lần quen, thân lại không mấy thân

Đành lặng im chẳng nói nên đứng ngâm mình trong ướt lạnh mưa đầu mùa
Đầu mặt cho ẩm ướt, hơi ấm không làm khô ở làn da thịt mềm
Thế rồi như khiến xui, em nhìn tôi ái ngại, chào hỏi cho đúng lệ
Rồi hiểu nhau từ đây, thân thiết nhau từ đây, khăn mượn em cũng trao

Phố mưa chiều nay vắng buồn, phố mưa lùa qua ngõ hồn
Đường mưa ngập lối, người không buồn tới, có riêng em mà thôi
Mấy ai mà không yếu mềm lúc bên người con gái đẹp
