De repente el capitán

Empezó a no beber

Un buen día en el puerto le dijo: mira loro vete,

Se acabó esta vida para mí.

Y el loro tardó tiempo en reaccionar
Cuando por fin echó a volar
Poniendo rumbo hacia la casa donde vivía el capitán.
Como un salvaje asesinó
A la pareja en el colchón
Y con la sangre aun en su pico volvió a bordo
Y se posó en mi hombro y compredimos con asombro
Que el jefe ahora soy yo.
La vida es dura cerca del agua
Cuando persigues a un atunero.
No existen normas aquí en Somalia
Solo la ley de los bucaneros.

The Story of the Swearing Parrot

He always was a swearing parrot
Perched upon the shoulder of a pirate
Bloodthirsty and vicious
