Wahai Tuhan, ku tak layak ke surga-Mu
Namun tak pula aku sanggup ke neraka-Mu
Ampunkan dosaku, terimalah taubatku
Sesungguhnya Engkaulah pengampun dosa-dosa besar

إِلهِي لَسْتُ لِلْفِرْدَوْسِ أَهْلاً
وَلاَ أَقْوَى عَلىَ النَّارِ الجَحِيْمِ
فَهَبْ ليِ تَوْبَةً وَاغْفِرْ ذُنُوْبيِ
فَإِنَّكَ غَافِرُ الذَّنْبِ العَظِيْمِ

Dosa-dosaku bagaikan pepasir di pantai
Dengan rahmat-Mu ampunkan daku oh Tuhanku

Wahai Tuhan selamatkan kami ini
Dari segala kejahatan dan kecelakaan
Kami takut, kami harap kepada-Mu
Suburkanlah cinta kami kepada-Mu
Kami lah hamba yang mengharap belas dari-Mu

Oh my Lord, I am not worthy of Your paradise
But neither can I bear Your hellfire
Forgive my sins, accept my repentance
For You are indeed the forgiver of great sins

My God, I am not worthy of paradise
Nor can I endure the blazing fire
So grant me repentance and forgive my sins
For You are the forgiver of great sin

My sins are like the grains of sand on the beach
With Your mercy, forgive me, oh my Lord

Oh my Lord, save us from evil
And from all calamities
We are afraid, we hope in You
Make our love for You grow
We are Your servants who hope for Your mercy
