En un papel que de una vez de recogido,
Pongo estas letras dedicadas a mi madre,
Como estoy presto no tengo pluma ni lápiz,
Por eso escribo con la tinta de mi sangre,

Tal vez partiste de este mundo,
Traicionero.,
O algo muy grave te he pedido visitarme,
Solo una cosa da valor a mi existencia.
Tu bendición que dónde quiera ha de alcanzarme.

Hay gente buena que aunque pobre es respetada,
Y otros tan ricos que pueden comprar los mares,
No son mendigos si les falta en este mundo,
La bendición y las caricias de una madre.

Como el destino de esta carta desconozco,
Tal vez jamas llegue a las manos de mi madre,
Yo les suplico me perdonen si no firmó,
Pues desconozco el apellido de mi padre.

No son mendigos si les falta en este mundo,

On a piece of paper that I picked up just now,
I write these letters dedicated to my mother,

Maybe you left this world,

Or I've asked you for something very serious to visit me,

They are not beggars if in this world they lack,

Maybe it will never reach the hands of my mother,
I beg you to forgive me if I don't sign it,
Because I don't know my father's last name.
