أغلى من العيد

أرى الأحبة من دنياي قد رحلو
ال الجنان في خضرائها نزلو
ارى الصحاب حولي وقد هجروا
دنيا المتاعب من اكدارها رحلو
ياربي اخواني باعو نفوسهم
لرفعه الدين من اجله قتلو
هذاك ابو بكر يا ربي ترحمه
امضى الحياة خائفا وجلو

More Precious Than Eid

I see the beloved ones of my world have gone
They have descended into the greenery of Paradise
I see the companions around me, and they have abandoned
The world of troubles from its sorrows has departed
My Lord, my brothers sold their souls
For the elevation of religion, for its sake they were killed
That is Abu Bakr, my Lord, have mercy on him
He spent his life in fear and anxiety
