この手首 切り刻んで
値段のつかないバーコードを書いた
もうどこにも並ばないまま
廃棄されるのを待っていた
爪や髪を切る度に すり減る自分が愛しくて
皮膚も肉も骨も邪魔に思えたよ
枯れ葉が水面に落ちて やがて沈んでくように
消えてしまえたなら
そんな悲しみも歌にして
奏でれば そっと開いた 蓮華の花
こんな汚れた泥のなかで
ずっと沈んだまま 眠ってたのに
どうしてだろう ああ 綺麗な色
大好きだった絵本の
最後のページは破り捨ててしまった
幸せな物語を
読み終わらずに済むように
小さな頃を思い出す度 いつも曇り空ばかり
いま思えばよく晴れてたのかな
曇ってたのは空かな 私の瞳なのかな
どっちでもいいけれど
ずっと隠してた傷口を
癒せる薬はどこにも無かったけど
こんな汚れた痛みの中で
そっと萎れないまま そばにいたんだね
ねえそして 花は咲く 魔法みたいだ
ほんの少し背丈が伸びたり
あの頃より髪が伸びたり
手首の皺は今でも残るけど
破り捨てた絵本のページの
続きを思い描いてみたり

Lotus

I slit my wrist
And wrote a barcode on it, which had no price
I never lined up anywhere
And waited to be thrown away
My fingernails and hair diminish every time I cut them
And I endeared myself to the self that wore away
Like the withered leaves fall onto the water's surface and sink
I wanted to vanish
And when I turned such sadness into a song
And played it, a lotus flower gently opened
In this filthy mud
I've been sunken and sleeping the whole time
But how come? Ah, what a beautiful color
Of the picture book I used to love
I tore out the last page and threw it away
So that I could finish
Reading the happy story
Every time I remember my childhood, it's always a cloudy sky
But now that I think about it, maybe it was sunny
Was the cloudy one the sky or my eyes?
It doesn't matter
The wounds I've always hidden
There was no medicine that could heal them
But in this filthy pain
