Fiz-me ao mar com lua cheia
A esse mar de ruas e cafés
Com vagas de olhos a rolar
Que não me viam no convés
Tão cegas no seu vulgar

E assim fui na monção
Perdido na imensidão
Deparei com uma ilha
Uma pequena maravilha

Meio submersa
Resistindo a toada
Deu-me dois dedos de conversa
Já cheia de andar calada

Tinha um olhar acanhado
E uma blusa azul-grená
Com o botão desapertado
E por dentro tão ousado
Um peito sem soutien

Ancoramos num rochedo
Sacudimos o sal e o medo
Falamos de musica e cinema
Lia fernando pessoa
E às vezes também fazia um poema

E no cabelo vi-lhe conchas
E na boca uma pérola a brilhar
Despiu o olhar de defesa

I set sail with a full moon
On this sea of streets and cafés
With waves of rolling eyes
That did not see me on the deck
So blind in their vulgarity

And so I went in the monsoon
Lost in immensity
I came across an island
A small wonder

Half submerged
Resisting the tune
She gave me a bit of conversation
Already tired of being silent

She had a shy look
And a navy blue blouse
With the button undone
And so bold inside
A breast without a bra

We anchored on a rock
We shook off the salt and the fear
We talked about music and cinema
She read Fernando Pessoa
And sometimes she would write a poem

And in her hair I saw shells
And in her mouth a pearl shining
She undressed the look of defense
She put the map on the table for me

She told me about these islands
Archipelagos under the moonlight
With the sands stretched out
Against the blindness of the sea
