ایسی پلا دےجس کا نشا عمر بھر رہے
مجھکو بھرپور ابھی تک نی کوئی جام ملا
ساقیا اور پلا اور پلا اور پلا
میری سمت دیکھ ساقی میرے ذوق پہ نظر رکھ
نہ چرا نگاہ ساقی نہ برت بے نیازی
مجھے آج ہی پلادے نہ تو ٹال کل پہ ساقی
کہ چھلک نہ جائے کل تک میرا جام زندگانی
کبھی چلو سے کبھی تول کے پی ہے میں نے
کبھی چپ چاپ کبھی بول کے پی ھے میں نے
مختصر دل کھول کے پی ھے میں نے
پیتے پیتے تمام کرڈالی
زندگی نظر جام کر ڈالی
میں کوئی زھر تو نہ پی واعظ
تو نے کیسے حرام کر ڈالی
پینا حرام ھے نہ پلانا حرام ھے
نہ پینے کےبعد ھوش میں آنا حرام ہے
یہ لکھا ہے پیرے مغاکے دوکان پر
کم ظرف کو شراب پلانا حرام ہے
کیونکہ میخانہ کی توھین ھے
رندوں کی ھتک ھے اگر کم ظرف
کے ھاتھوں میں جام دیا جائے...
