یا محمدؐ نورِ مجسم یا حبیبی یا مولائی
تصویرِ کمال محبت تنویرِ جمالِ خدائی
تیرا وصف بیاں ہو کس سے تیری کون کرے گا بڑائی
اس گردِ سفر میں گم ہے جبریلِ امیں کی رسائی
اے مظہرِ شانِ جمالی اے خواجہ وبندہ ءِ عالی
مجھے حشر میں کام آجائے میرا ذوقِ سخن آرائی
مااجملک تیری صورت مااحسنک تیری سیرت
مااکملک تیری عظمت تیری ذات میں گم ہے خدائی
یہ رنگِ بہارِ گلشن یہ گل اور گل کا جوبن
تیرے نورِقدم کا دھوون اس دھوون کی رعنائی
تیری ایک نظر کے طالب تیرے ایک سخن پر قرباں
یہ سب تیرے دیوانے یہ سب تیرے شیدائی
تو رئیسِ روز شفاعت تو امیرِ لطف و عنایت
ہے ادیبؔ کو تجھ سے نسبت یہ غلام ہے تو آقائی

Ya Muhammad Noor-E-Majasam

O Muhammad, you are the embodiment of light, my beloved, my lord.
You are the image of perfect love, the illumination of God's divine beauty.
Who can describe your virtues? Who can praise your greatness?
Even Gabriel, the trusted messenger, loses his way in the dust of your journey.
O manifestation of divine beauty, O master and servant of the Most High,
May my eloquence serve me well on the Day of Judgment.
How beautiful is your face! How lovely is your form!
How perfect is your grandeur! God is lost in the contemplation of your being.
This springtime beauty of the garden, these flowers and their youthful radiance,
Are but a reflection of the light of your footsteps, the splendor of your presence.
I am a supplicant for a single glance from you, a sacrifice for a single word from your lips.
All these are your lovers, all these are your devotees.
You are the prince of the Day of Intercession, the sovereign of grace and mercy.
Adib is your humble servant, and his only boast is in his connection to you.
