پرنده پر کشید از آشیونه با خداش
می گفت به گِل نشسته کشتیشون با ناخداش
می رفت یه جای دور به قلب شهر نور
یه جا که مردمش میدن بش آب و دون
پرنده خسته بود، جفت چشاشو بسته بود
درونش وصله بود، قلبشم شکسته بود
می ترسید از عکس توی آب
می لرزید هر لحظه توی خواب

یه روزی بین راه تو جنگل سیاه
شدش اسیر دام به دست پادشاه
کردنش تو حبس با آب و دون مفت
بستنش به بست اون با خودش میگفت:
پرنده بپر این میله ها اسیرن
قفس که سهله مشتی! سنگ داغ سینه ت
خدات که پشتته پس خودخوریتو بس کن
گناهت اینه که نموندی لای هر قوم

پرنده کلافه بود لم می داد به خلاف نور
انگار که نداره جون غم می ریخت تو تمام اون
حسرت های پرواز تو مغزش گِز گِز کرد
آسمون در باز می گفتش: نصفش چند؟
جیغ زد داد کشید ناله کرد و آه کشید
انگار نه انگار، دنیا بود تو خواب سیر
همش تو لک بود،کی میاد این فردا
پراشو می کند کش نیاد این دردا
لب به لب بود از آدما سر میزد هي به آهنا
دلرو داد به شبا دعاش جدا شد از توقعاش
خدا پهلوش بود، نوازشش می کرد
فرشته مخلوق، عبادتش می کرد
خلاصه جون کند تا میله هارو پس زد
دوباره جون گرفت عین روز اول
ولی همیشه تیکه تلخ قصه آخره

A bird that took flight from its nest with its God,
Said to the ship that sat in the mud with its captain,
It was going to a faraway place in the heart of the city of light,
A place where its people would give it food and water.
The bird was tired, its eyes were closed,
Its insides were patched up, its heart was broken.
It was afraid of its reflection in the water,
It trembled every moment in its sleep.
Verse 2
One day, along the way in the dark forest,
It became trapped in a trap set by the king.
They put it in prison with plenty of food and water,
They tied it to a pole and it said to itself:
Fly, bird, these bars are a prison,
These bars are nothing, man! The real pain is in your heart.
Your God is with you, so stop worrying.
Your sin is that you didn't stay among any people.

The bird was frustrated and lay down facing the light,
As if it had no life, and sorrow filled its whole being.
The longing for flight stung its brain,
The open sky called out to it, "What's half of one?"
It screamed, shouted, groaned, and sighed,
As if the world was in a deep sleep.
It was always hoping that tomorrow would come,
It would pull out its feathers so it wouldn't feel this pain any longer.
It was surrounded by people and would always turn to the metal bars,
It gave its heart to the nights and its prayers were no longer filled with expectations.
God was by its side, caressing it,
The angels adored it, worshipping its creation.
In short, it suffered until it pushed back the bars,
It regained its strength like it was brand new,
But the bitter end of every story is always sad,
The bird is an eagle, hunting in the mountains and valleys.
