空をいくつかに分かれさせている
高速道路の下で
壊れたビルや 壊れた車が
捨てられている景色が
無人の街を作っている
多分立ち入りを禁じた看板
ひびが入って転がり
カラスにとっては 慣れてるだけで
欲しいものも無さそうで
そこで境界線を作っていたのは
黒くさびれて ねじ曲がっている
ずっと忘れられている もの
太陽の光浴びながら
有刺鉄線はそこにあった
淀んだ空気に揺れながら
私はボーダーのどちら側にいる
いるのかな
遠ざけてたのは 置き去りにしてた
街や人々の過去で
私がしばらく 遠ざけたのも
どこかに転がってそうで
ここが夢のスクラップ工場だったならいいのに
そこで気づいた 有刺鉄線に
まるで寄り添うように這っていた
緑の蔦のような命が
ずっと這いつくばって 延びてた
太陽の光浴びながら
有刺鉄線と生きていた
淀んだ空気に揺れながら
そこには意味などあるのかどうかさえ
関係がない
隔てようとする力と
生き抜こうとする力と
まるで裏と表のようで
表と裏ではないもの
太陽の光浴びながら
有刺鉄線はそこにある
私がずっと 遠ざけたものが
自分自身だと気づく
有刺鉄線がそこにあっても
多分そこには ボーダーはない
淀んだ空気が揺れている
そこには きっと 出口があるから
私はそっと心の中の
有刺鉄線を切った

I see the sky is partitioned into sections
Beneath the expressway
Broken-down buildings and ruined cars
Have been abandoned to make up the scene
That comprises this deserted town
A sign forbidding entry has likely
Crumbled and rolled away
For the crows, they are used to it
And don't seem to need anything
So the boundary markers that remain
Are blackened, rusted, twisted
Forgotten things
Bathing in the sunlight
There is barbed wire
Swaying in the stagnant air
On which side of the border am I
If I am on any side at all
I have been turning away from
And leaving behind
My past with the city and its people
Which I have turned away from for a time
And which could be rolling around somewhere
If this place were a junkyard for dreams
Then I have noticed that on the barbed wire
As if clinging there
There is a life like green ivy
Which has been crawling and extending for ages
Bathing in the sunlight
It is alive with the barbed wire
Swaying in the stagnant air
Whether or not there is any meaning in that
Is irrelevant
The power that seeks to divide
And the power that seeks to survive
As if they were two sides of the same coin
Not as two sides
Bathing in the sunlight
The barbed wire is there
And I realize that what I have
Been turning away from is myself
Even with the barbed wire there
Perhaps there is no border
The stagnant air is stirring
There must be an exit
I quietly cut the barbed wire in my heart
