Natürlich hat das Leben ab und zu mal seltsam geschmeckt

Jeder war ein wahrer Freund und jeder hat es mitgekriegt
Brauchten keine Fotos oder Posts mit Markierung
Denn auch ohne waren wir einfach dicke Bros aus der Siedlung
Haben jeden Tag gechillt, ohne Plan oder Ziel
Brauchten selten was zutun und bewahrten nur das Wir
Nach der Schule fuhr man überall mit Fahrrad vorbei
An manchen Tagen waren wir 10 und an manchen zu zweit
Kein Geläster wenn mal einer fehlt, so war es dann halt
Genauso wie als Kind nicht ganz normal zu erscheinen
Es war ne andere Welt, an der uns alles gefällt

Wohnten auch in diesem hohen Haus

10 Jahre später und die Meisten sind Erwachsen
Keine Freunde, denn man hat das Damals leider nicht verstanden

Competition über alles, fühlt sich an wie ne Bewegung
Hoffte das wir nicht betroffen sind
Doch jeder hasst den anderen gerade
Pubertäres Mann-Gehabe, finde ich unfassbar schade
Wir hatten alles, was es brauchte um die Besten zu sein
Sitz heut allein, um meine Texte zu schreiben
Und wenn man doch mal einen sieht von dem alten Kreis
Ist es so, als ob man flieht vor der alten Zeit
Denn es gibt nur selten ein Gespräch oder Augenkontakt
Ich glaube wir haben alle Schluss und keine Pause gemacht
Das ist ne andere Welt, an der mir gar nichts gefällt
Und frag mich wer von uns hat diesen ganzen Wahnsinn bestellt
Trag die Erinnerung in mir, denn das ist alles was mir bleibt
Und ganz egal was uns getrennt hat, ich bin Dankbar für die Zeit
