Er walzte alles nieder, zum Leben keine Stätte mehr.
So viele sind gestorben, ein kleiner Teil hat überlebt.
Zersprengt, ziellos, verloren man ohne Hoffnung schmerzvoll stöhnt.
Auch wenn die Reise mir oft schwerfällt, ich oft ins Grübeln komme und
Mir der Sinn oft nicht ganz klar ist, und mich der Zweifel hart bedrängt.
Der Wille ist vorhanden, hilft, dass meine Hoffnung siegt.
Ich nie aufgeb′, ich nie ausweich', das Ziel fest vor Augen seh′!
Ich komm' zurück, wenn die Nächte nicht mehr schwarz sind,
Wenn ich gefunden, was sich still vor uns verbirgt.
Wenn ich gefühlt, wovon die alten Sagen schreiben,
Wenn ich geseh'n, was unsere Hoffnung schürt.
Denn in Märchenmond werd′ ich all die Sachen finden.
