That which saddens the hearts of Muslims
The long-awaited day of Eid al-Fitr has arrived
Let us all seek forgiveness

Children can be seen gathering
Rejoicing at the arrival of the holiday
Visiting their eldest relatives
Seeking forgiveness for their mistakes

The departed are not forgotten
We visit their graves with prayers
Allah will bestow His mercy
May their souls be at peace

After a month of fasting
The noble day has arrived
Young and old, poor or wealthy
We celebrate together
