Surah Ad Dukhan

Haa-miim
Waalkitaabi almubiini
Innaa anzalnaahu fii laylatin mubaarakatin innaa kunnaa mundziriina
Fiihaa yufraqu kullu amrin hakiimin
Amran min ′indinaa innaa kunnaa mursiliina
Rahmatan min rabbika innahu huwa alssamii'u al′aliimu
Rabbi alssamaawaati waal-ardhi wamaa baynahumaa in kuntum muuqiniina
Laa ilaaha illaa huwa yuhyii wayumiitu rabbukum warabbu aabaa-ikumu al-awwaliina
Bal hum fii syakkin yal'abuuna
Fairtaqib yawma ta/tii alssamaau bidukhaanin mubiinin
Yaghsyaa alnnaasa haadzaa 'adzaabun aliimun
Rabbanaa iksyif ′annaa al′adzaaba innaa mu/minuuna
Annaa lahumu aldzdzikraa waqad jaa-ahum rasuulun mubiinun
Tsumma tawallaw 'anhu waqaaluu mu′allamun majnuunun
Innaa kaasyifuu al'adzaabi qaliilan innakum ′aa-iduuna
Yawma nabthisyu albathsyata alkubraa innaa muntaqimuuna
Walaqad fatannaa qablahum qawma fir'awna wajaa-ahum rasuulun kariimun
An adduu ilayya ′ibaada allaahi innii lakum rasuulun amiinun
Wa-an laa ta'luu 'alaa allaahi innii aatiikum bisulthaanin mubiinin
Wa-innii ′udztu birabbii warabbikum an tarjumuuni
Wa-in lam tu/minuu lii fai′taziluuni
Fada'aa rabbahu anna haaulaa-i qawmun mujrimuuna
Fa-asri bi′ibaadii laylan innakum muttaba'uuna
Wautruki albahra rahwan innahum jundun mughraquuna
Kam tarakuu min jannaatin wa′uyuunin
Wazuruu'in wamaqaamin kariimin
Wana′matin kaanuu fiihaa faakihiina
Kadzaalika wa-awratsnaahaa qawman aakhariina
Famaa bakat 'alayhimu alssamaau waal-ardhu wamaa kaanuu munzhariina
Walaqad najjaynaa banii israa-iila mina al'adzaabi almuhiini
Min fir′awna innahu kaana ′aaliyan mina almusrifiina
Walaqadi ikhtarnaahum 'alaa ′ilmin 'alaa al′aalamiina
Waaataynaahum mina al-aayaati maa fiihi balaaun mubiinun
Inna haaulaa-i layaquuluuna
In hiya illaa mawtatunaa al-uulaa wamaa nahnu bimunsyariina
Fa/tuu bi-aabaa-inaa in kuntum shaadiqiina
Ahum khayrun am qawmu tubba'in waalladziina min qablihim ahlaknaahum innahum kaanuu mujrimiina
Wamaa khalaqnaa alssamaawaati waal-ardha wamaa baynahumaa laa′ibiina
Maa khalaqnaahumaa illaa bialhaqqi walaakinna aktsarahum laa ya'lamuuna
Inna yawma alfashli miiqaatuhum ajma'iina
Yawma laa yughnii mawlan ′an mawlan syay-an walaa hum yunsharuuna
Illaa man rahima allaahu innahu huwa al′aziizu alrrahiimu
Inna syajarata alzzaqquumi
Tha'aamu al-atsiimi
Kaalmuhli yaghlii fii albuthuuni
Kaghalyi alhamiimi
Khudzuuhu fai′tiluuhu ilaa sawaa-i aljahiimi
Tsumma shubbuu fawqa ra/sihi min 'adzaabi alhamiimi
Dzuq innaka anta al′aziizu alkariimu
Inna haadzaa maa kuntum bihi tamtaruuna
Inna almuttaqiina fii maqaamin amiinin
Fii jannaatin wa'uyuunin
Yalbasuuna min sundusin wa-istabraqin mutaqaabiliina
Kadzaalika wazawwajnaahum bihuurin ′iinin
Yad'uuna fiihaa bikulli faakihatin aaminiina
Laa yadzuuquuna fiihaa almawta illaa almawtata al-uulaa wawaqaahum 'adzaaba aljahiimi
Fadhlan min rabbika dzaalika huwa alfawzu al′azhiimu
Fa-innamaa yassarnaahu bilisaanika la′allahum yatadzakkaruuna
Fartakib innahum murtaqibuuna

Surah Ad-Dukhan

Haa-meem.
By the clear Book,
Indeed, We sent it down during a blessed night. Indeed, We were to warn [mankind].
On that night is made distinct every precise matter -
[Every] matter [proceeding] from Us. Indeed, We were to send [a messenger]
As mercy from your Lord. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them, if you should be convinced.
There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him. He gives life and causes death. [He is] your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers.
But they are in doubt, amusing themselves.
So watch for the Day when the sky will bring a visible smoke
Enveloping the people; this is a painful punishment.
[They will say], "Our Lord, remove from us the punishment; indeed, we are believers."
How will there be for them a reminder [at that time]? And there had come to them a clear Messenger.
Then they turned away from him and said, "[He was] taught [by others], a madman."
Indeed, We will remove the punishment for a little. Indeed, you will [then] return [to disbelief].
The Day We will strike with the greatest assault, indeed, We will take retribution.
And We had certainly tried before them the people of Pharaoh, and there came to them a noble messenger,
[Saying], "Send with me the servants of Allah . Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger."
And, "[Do] not exalt yourselves over Allah . Indeed, I have come to you with clear authority."
And indeed, I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord, lest you stone me.
But if you do not believe me, then leave me alone."
So he called upon his Lord, "Indeed, these are a criminal people."
[ Allah said], "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you are to be pursued."
And leave the sea as a furrow. Indeed, they are an army to be drowned."
How many gardens and springs did they leave behind,
And crops and noble sites,
And comfort wherein they were amused?
Thus. And We caused to inherit it another people.
So the heaven and the earth did not weep for them, nor were they reprieved.
And We certainly saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating punishment -
From Pharaoh. Indeed, he was a haughty one among the transgressors.
And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds.
And We gave them of signs that in which there was a clear trial.
Indeed, these [disbelievers] are saying,
"There is not but our first death, and we will not be resurrected.
Then bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful."
Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them, [for] indeed, they were criminals.
And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play.
We did not create them except in truth, but most of them do not know.
Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all -
The Day when a close friend will not avail [another] close friend at all, nor will they be helped,
Except for those whom Allah has shown mercy. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.
Indeed, the tree of zaqqum
Is food for the sinful.
Like murky oil, it boils within bellies,
Like the boiling of scalding water.
[It will be said], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire,
Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water."
[It will be said], "Taste [this]! Indeed, you are the mighty, the honorable."
Indeed, this is what you used to dispute."
Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place -
Within gardens and springs,
Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other.
Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes.
They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure.
They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire
As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment.
So We have only made it easy [to understand] in your tongue that they might be reminded.
So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching.
