Surah Al-Ghashiya

بِسۡــمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
١- هَلْ اَتٰيكَ حَد۪يثُ الْغَاشِيَةِۜ
٢- وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌۙ
٣- عَامِلَةٌ نَاصِبَةٌۙ
٤- تَصْلٰى نَاراً حَامِيَةًۙ
٥- تُسْقٰى مِنْ عَيْنٍ اٰنِيَةٍۜ
٦- لَيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ اِلَّا مِنْ ضَر۪يعٍۙ
٧- لَا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْن۪ي مِنْ جُوعٍۜ
٨- وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَاعِمَةٌۙ
٩- لِسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌۙ
١٠- ف۪ي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍۙ
١١- لَا تَسْمَعُ ف۪يهَا لَاغِيَةًۜ
١٢- ف۪يهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌۢ
١٣- ف۪يهَا سُرُرٌ مَرْفُوعَةٌۙ
١٤- وَاَكْوَابٌ مَوْضُوعَةٌۙ
١٥- وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌۙ
١٦- وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌۜ
١٧- اَفَلَا يَنْظُرُونَ اِلَى الْاِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ۠
١٨- وَاِلَى السَّمَٓاءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ۠
١٩- وَاِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ۠
٢٠- وَاِلَى الْاَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ۠
٢١- فَذَكِّرْ اِنَّـمَٓا اَنْتَ مُذَكِّرٌۜ
٢٢- لَسْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِمُصَيْطِرٍۙ
٢٣- اِلَّا مَنْ تَوَلّٰى وَكَفَرَۙ
٢٤- فَيُعَذِّبُهُ اللّٰهُ الْعَذَابَ الْاَكْبَرَۜ
٢٥- اِنَّ اِلَيْنَٓا اِيَابَهُمْۙ
٢٦- ثُمَّ اِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُمْ

Surah Al-Ghashiya

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
1. Has there come to you the story of the overwhelming (event)?
2. On that day, some faces will be humbled,
3. Laborious - worn out.
4. They will enter into a scorching Fire.
5. They will be given to drink from a boiling spring,
6. No food will they have except from a thorny plant,
7. Which will neither fatten nor satisfy hunger.
8. And other faces will that day be joyful,
9. Satisfied with their efforts,
10. In a lofty Paradise,
11. Wherein they will hear no idle talk.
12. Therein will be a gushing spring.
13. Therein will be raised couches
14> And goblets placed,
15> Cushions arranged
16> And carpets spread out.
17. Do they not look at the camels, how they are created?
18. And at the heaven, how it is raised high?
19. And at the mountains, how they are set firm?
20. And at the earth, how it is spread out?
21. Therefore do remind, for you are only a reminder.
22. You are not a dictator over them.
23. But whosoever turns back and disbelieves,
24> Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment.
25> Surely, unto Us is their return.
26> Then, surely, upon Us is their reckoning.
