Alumni Trip

We used to plan a trip to see the Grand Canyon
But after graduating, one by one, people backed out
Jennifer and John said they've been feeling drained
Susan and Mike announced they're getting married in December
A fairy-tale wedding, but they haven't saved enough
Jack and Mary opened a laundromat
Their business took off, but the promised trip got tossed
