אֵל מִסְתַּתֵּר בְּשַׁפְרִיר חֶבְיוֹן.
הַשֵּׂכֶל הַנֶּעֱלָם מִכָּל רַעֲיוֹן.
עִלַּת הָעִלּוֹת מוּכְתַּר בְּכֶתֶר
עֶלְיוֹן. כֶּתֶר יִתְּנוּ לְךָ יְהֹוָה:
בְּרֵאשִׁית תּוֹרָתְךָ הַקְּדוּמָה. רְשׁוּמָה חָכְמָתְךָ הַסְּתוּמָה.
מֵאַיִן תִּמָּצֵא וְהִיא נֶעֱלָמָה. רֵאשִׁית חָכְמָה יִרְאַת יְהֹוָה:

Concealed God

O God, concealed in the splendor of Your concealment,
Intellect hidden from every thought,
Cause of causes, crowned with a crown
Supreme. They shall give You a crown, O Lord,
At the beginning of Your ancient Torah. Your hidden wisdom is inscribed,
Whence it may be found, though it remains concealed. The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord.
