Meu nome é Carlos Augusto Migliaccio
Também conhecido como Migli, apelido que minha mãe me deu
Nasci em Brasília, Sobradinho 28 de Março de 1996
Tive a infância que qualquer garoto de classe média baixa
Do final dos anos 90 poderia ter
Exceto por uma diferença
Eu nunca tive amigos
Ao longo da vida eu nunca consegui ter amigos
Me abrir, conversar, pra mim era algo impossível
Eu poderia contar todos os detalhes da minha vida pra vocês
Cada lágrima, cada choro, cada desilusão
Porém irei focar em quatro momentos
Quatro acontecimentos que me levaram até aqui
O fundo do poço
Essa é a carta nº 1

Eu sempre observei os outros
Gostava mais de olhar do que participar
Me achava louco
Tinha dificuldades de enturmar me encontrar
Não gostava dos assunto, eu não me via nos outros

Na escola geral era extrovertido
Via gente brincando, correndo, sempre se divertindo
Queria muito fazer parte disso
Mas não sabia como
Sempre tive bloqueio em ter amigos

Tinha dificuldades de expressar o que eu pensava
De agir naturalmente, de fazer brincadeira
Sempre ficava vigilante com meu comportamento
Raramente eu levantava da cadeira

Me sentia um animal encurralado na sala
Daqueles que tem medo mas não fala
Lembro da dor de sempre ser a piada
Do garoto popular pra menina bonita dar risada

O professor dizia
Relaxa é só brincadeira
Todo mundo é amigo então não se estressa
Se todo mundo é amigo igual se diz
Por que que eles me tratam como algo que não presta?

Por que que o adolescente tem que ser tão tribal
Usar a violência para se sentir maior
Perdi a conta de quantas vezes eu apanhei
Pros meninos da sala sentir o ego um pouco melhor

Da quarta série até a oitava série
Eu sempre me perguntava se eu tinha alguma doença
Porque eu passei menos tempo
Falando com gente da minha idade
Do que refletindo dentro da minha cabeça

Sentia que ninguém ligava pra minha presença
Só falavam de mim na hora da piada
A pior parte nem era a risada
Era quando isso passava, e voltava indiferença

Em casa o clima sempre tava tenso
Minha mãe limpava, cozinhava e trabalhava em excesso
Meu pai era um homem difícil
Ou tava estressado no trabalho ou bêbado no recesso

Eu não tinha amigos não podia falar com meus pais
Isso alimentou minha agonia
Rodeado de pessoas porém me sentindo só
Eu juro a solidão é uma péssima companhia

Lembro desse dia, 28 de março de 2009
Meu décimo terceiro aniversário
Convidei todo mundo da minha sala
Meu pai comprou refri, e minha mãe comprou salgado

Marcado pras duas da tarde
Minha mãe alugou mesa, cadeira, e eu tava com receio
O que eu mais temia aconteceu
O tempo passou anoiteceu e ninguém veio

Lembro de chorar deitado sozinho no quarto
Perguntar pra mãe o que eu tinha feito de errado
Eu nunca maltratei ninguém na vida
Por que que todas as chances que eles tem eu sempre sou maltratado

Eu passei o dia inteiro tentando entender
O que os outros fazem que eu tenho que fazer
O que que os outros sabem que eu tenho que aprender
Por que eu não consigo ser que nem você?

Eu vi um filme de herói na TV
E eu percebi que eu era um super herói
E sabe qual é a parte que dói?
Aceitar que invisibilidade, era o pior super poder

Quando o choro parou eu me senti vazio
Como se eu não tivesse mais vivo
Isso me agoniou
Eu só queria sentir qualquer coisa que trouxesse alívio

Sentei no chão do quarto, tirei a camisa
Deitei no chão gelado, tentei sentir a brisa
Do nada meu pulmão ficou pequeno
Não tenho oxigênio, o que tá acontecendo com a minha vida

Minha mão suando, meu coração palpitando
O olho lacrimejando, minhas pernas tremendo
O corpo com gastura, uma sensação de tontura
Minha mente na tortura eu achei que tava morrendo

Cheguei no banheiro dos meus pais
Eu não sentia nada, e ao mesmo tempo sentia tudo
Eu sentei, rezei, mas Deus tava muito ocupado
Afinal eu não sou normal igual todo mundo

Em meio ao desespero já sem pensamento olhei a pia do banheiro
Vi uma gilete usada não raciocinei
Eu tava sem discernimento
Parei e só foquei no lindo brilho da lâmina prateada

Algo me dizia que ali estava minha saída
Encostei a lâmina de lado na pele suada
Pressionei até que a dor afastou minha apatia
E eu vi escorrer na pia alegria avermelhada

Eu vi escorrer na pia agonia acumulada
Eu vi escorrer na pia a solidão da minha sala
Eu vi escorrer na pia o que os alunos falava
Eu vi descer pelo ralo tudo aquilo que eu fugia

Nem foi um corte profundo
Mas o sentimento é abissal
Meu corpo sentia dor
Eu esquecia que a minha mente tava mal

Naquele momento eu encontrei minha primeira paixão
Me cortar, era algo impossível de decifrar
Ao mesmo que me machucava, me curava
O resto do ano de 2009 foi dessa forma
Continuei excluído no escuro
A única pessoa com quem eu falava era a minha mãe
Eu não tive coragem de contar que me cortar
Malditas crianças mimadas, usaram o meu sofrimento
Para alimentar seus egos, e eu paguei a conta toda, sozinho!
Até hoje me pergunto o que seria de mim se as escolas
Falassem sobre o bullying, se os pais educassem os filhos
A não julgar as diferenças, se a sociedade falasse
Sobre auto mutilação?
Bom, talvez eu não me encontrasse aqui

My name is Carlos Augusto Migliaccio
Also known as Migli, a nickname my mother gave me
I was born in Brasilia, Sobradinho, on March 28, 1996
I had the childhood that any lower-middle-class boy
From the late 90s could have
Except for one difference
I never had friends
Throughout my life, I was never able to make friends
Opening up, talking, was impossible for me
I could tell you every detail of my life
Every tear, every cry, every disappointment
But I will focus on four moments
Four events that brought me here
Rock bottom
This is letter No. 1

I always observed others
I liked to watch more than participate
I thought I was crazy
I had difficulty fitting in, finding myself
I didn't like the topics, I didn't see myself in others

At school, everyone was extroverted
I saw people playing, running, always having fun
I really wanted to be a part of it
But I didn't know how
I always had a block on having friends

I had difficulty expressing what I thought
To act naturally, to joke around
I was always vigilant about my behavior
I rarely got up from my chair

I felt like an animal cornered in the room
One of those who are afraid but don't speak
I remember the pain of always being the joke
The popular boy for the pretty girl to laugh at

The teacher would say
Relax, it's just a joke
Everyone is friends, so don't stress
If everyone is friends like they say
Why do they treat me like something worthless?

Why do teenagers have to be so tribal
Use violence to feel bigger
I lost count of how many times I got beaten up
For the boys in the class to feel their ego a little better

From fourth grade to eighth grade
I always wondered if I had some disease
Because I spent less time
Talking to people my age
Than reflecting inside my head

I felt like nobody cared about my presence
They only talked about me when it was time for a joke
The worst part wasn't even the laughter
It was when it passed, and indifference returned

At home, the atmosphere was always tense
My mother cleaned, cooked, and worked excessively
My father was a difficult man
He was either stressed at work or drunk during his break

I had no friends, I couldn't talk to my parents
This fueled my agony
Surrounded by people but feeling alone
I swear, loneliness is terrible company

I remember this day, March 28, 2009
My thirteenth birthday
I invited everyone from my class
My father bought soda, and my mother bought snacks

Scheduled for two in the afternoon
My mother rented a table, chairs, and I was apprehensive
What I feared most happened
Time passed, night fell, and no one came

I remember crying lying alone in my room
Asking my mother what I had done wrong
I never mistreated anyone in my life
Why is it that every chance they get, I'm always mistreated?

I spent the whole day trying to understand
What others do that I have to do
What others know that I have to learn
Why can't I be like you?

I saw a superhero movie on TV
And I realized I was a superhero
And you know what the painful part is?
Accepting that invisibility was the worst superpower

When the crying stopped, I felt empty
As if I were no longer alive
This tormented me
I just wanted to feel anything that would bring relief

I sat on the floor of my room, took off my shirt
I lay on the cold floor, trying to feel the breeze
Suddenly, my lungs felt small
I have no oxygen, what's happening to my life?

My hand sweating, my heart pounding
My eyes tearing, my legs shaking
My body nauseous, a feeling of dizziness
My mind in torture, I thought I was dying

I reached my parents' bathroom
I felt nothing, and at the same time, I felt everything
I sat down, I prayed, but God was too busy
After all, I'm not normal like everyone else

In the midst of despair, already without thought, I looked at the bathroom sink
I saw a used razor blade, I didn't think straight
I was without discernment
I stopped and just focused on the beautiful shine of the silver blade

Something told me that my way out was there
I pressed the blade sideways on my sweaty skin
I pressed until the pain pushed away my apathy
And I saw reddish joy flowing down the sink

I saw accumulated agony flowing down the sink
I saw the loneliness of my classroom flowing down the sink
I saw what the students said flowing down the sink
I saw everything I was running from going down the drain

It wasn't even a deep cut
But the feeling is abysmal
My body felt pain
I forgot that my mind was sick

At that moment, I found my first passion
Cutting myself was something impossible to decipher
While it hurt me, it healed me
The rest of 2009 was like this
I continued excluded in the dark
The only person I spoke to was my mother
I didn't have the courage to tell her that I was cutting myself
Damn spoiled children, they used my suffering
To feed their egos, and I paid the whole bill, alone!
To this day, I wonder what would have become of me if schools
Talked about bullying, if parents educated their children
Not to judge differences, if society talked
About self-harm?
Well, maybe I wouldn't be here
