وهدى من الرحمن يهدينا به للصالحات وللمكارم والتقى
هذا كتاب الله أعذب منهل أنعم به من مورد لمن استقى
قد صانه رب العباد بحفظه وحماه حتى لا يضيع ويخلقا
طوبى لمن حفظ الكتاب بصدره فبدا وضيئاً كالنجوم تألقا
وتمثل القرآن في أخلاقه وفعاله فيه الفؤاد تعلقا
وتلاه في جنح الدجى متدبراً والدمع من بين الجفون ترقرقا
يا أمتي القرآن حبل نجاتنا فتمسكي بعراه كي لا نغرقا
يا حافظ القرآن رتل آيه فالكل أنصت للتلاوة مطرقا
يا حافظ القرآن لست بحافظ حتى تكون لما حفظت مطبقا
ما ذا يفيدك أن تسمى حافظاً وكتاب ربك في الفؤاد تمزقا
يا أمتي القرآن حبل نجاتنا فتمسكي بعراه كي لا نغرقا
ولتجمعي حول الكتاب شتاتنا حتى نزيل تناحراً وتفرقا
ولتجعليه محـكما في أمـرنا وثقي بوعد الله أن يتحققا

Light through the ages shines brightly and illuminates the path to the world
And guidance from the Most Merciful guides us to good deeds and virtues
This is the Book of God, a most sweet spring, a source of bounty for those who drink
The Lord of all creatures has preserved it, protecting it so that it will not be lost or destroyed
Blessed is he who memorizes the Book in his heart, for it will appear radiant like a star
And the Quran is reflected in his character and deeds, to which his heart is attached
And he recites it in the darkness of the night, pondering over it, and tears trickle from between his eyelids
O my people, the Quran is the rope of our salvation, so hold on to its reins, lest we drown
O guardian of the Quran, recite its verses, for everyone listens to the recitation in silence
O guardian of the Quran, you are not a guardian until you have applied what you have memorized
What good is it to be called a guardian, while the Book of your Lord is torn in your heart?

And gather around the Book, our scattered selves, so that we may remove division and separation
And let it be the final authority in our affairs, and trust in God's promise that it will come true
