نور على مر الزمان تألقا وأضاء للدنيا طريقاً مشرق
وهدى من الرحمن يهدينا به للصالحات وللمكارم والتقى
هذا كتاب الله أعذب منهل أنعم به من مورد لمن استقى
قد صانه رب العباد بحفظه وحماه حتى لا يضيع ويخلقا
طوبى لمن حفظ الكتاب بصدره فبدا وضيئاً كالنجوم تألقا
وتمثل القرآن في أخلاقه وفعاله فيه الفؤاد تعلقا
وتلاه في جنح الدجى متدبراً والدمع من بين الجفون ترقرقا
هذي صفات الحافظين كتابه حقاً فكن بصفاتهم متخلقا
يا حافظ القرآن رتل آيه فالكل أنصت للتلاوة مطرقا
يا حافظ القرآن لست بحافظ حتى تكون لما حفظت مطبقا
ما ذا يفيدك أن تسمى حافظاً وكتاب ربك في الفؤاد تمزقا
يا أمتي القرآن حبل نجاتنا فتمسكي بعراه كي لا نغرقا
ولتجمعي حول الكتاب شتاتنا حتى نزيل تناحراً وتفرقا
ولتجعليه محـكما في أمـرنا وثقي بوعد الله أن يتحققا

Ya Hafidh Al Quraan

A light that shines brightly throughout time, illuminating a path for the world, a guiding light.
And guidance from the Most Gracious, leading us to do good deeds and righteous acts.
This is the Book of Allah, the sweetest source of knowledge, a blessing from the source of provision for those who seek it.
The Lord of all creation has preserved it, protected it so that it may never be lost or corrupted.
Blessed is the one who memorizes the Book in his heart, making it as radiant as the stars that shine.
And who embodies the Qur'an in his character and actions, his heart attached to it.
And who recites it in the darkness of the night, contemplating its meaning, and his tears flowing from his eyes.
These are the qualities of those who truly memorize His Book, so adorn yourself with their qualities.
O memorizer of the Qur'an, recite its verses, for all listen attentively to the recitation, their heads bowed.
O memorizer of the Qur'an, you are not truly a memorizer until you apply what you have memorized.
What good is it to be called a memorizer, while the Book of your Lord is torn apart in your heart?
O my people, the Qur'an is our lifeline, so hold fast to its teachings so that we may not drown.
And let us gather around the Book, setting aside our differences and unifying ourselves.
And let us make it the final authority in our affairs, and trust in Allah's promise that it will come to pass.
