Da ist Sand im Mehl gemischt und mein Fleisch ist nur noch am
Knochen.
Wenn Damper für mich gebacken wird, schmeckt er genauso wie ein

Oh ohhhhh im Winter, eine Decke reicht die ganze Nacht
bei der Eiseskälte.
Vielleicht springt ein Ochse bei der Stampede auf und Paddy kriegt die Panik.

Dem Haupt-Stockman, dem Boss, sag' ich schnell, ich hau ab von der
Station.

Verwandten.
Der Boss nimmt mich dann in sein Büro und das ist, was er sagt:

Cent mehr im Minus.
Da ist die Umsatzsteuer plus der Zoll und die Fracht, die wir
multiplizieren.
Hier ist dein Scheck, ein Dollar fünfzig, die Lebenshaltungskosten
steigen halt.

Oh, da hast du es also, Paddy, schwarz auf
Weiß aufgeschrieben.
