Perut melilit-lilit, kerongkongan gua kering
Semacam udah gak kuat, pengen minum yang dingin-dingin
Bau kolak menyengat, wangi bau kolang-kaling
Suara bedugnya mana? Kok belum ada yang mukulin?
Nunggu, nunggu, nunggu, nunggu, nungguin maghrib

Caw, selesai sahur gue kagak bisa tidur
Takut kebablasan gak bisa sholat subuh
Abis sholat subuh gue baru bisa tidur
Besoknya kebangun, eh baru jam tujuh

Pagi-pagi gue biasanya sarapan bubur
Minum kopi susu ame kue cucur
Tapi sekarang, eh, kagak bisa gitu
Mesti nahan lapar ampe sehari penuh

Gak boleh marah-marah, harus menahan napsu
Harus menahan kata, mata dan juga itu
Yang lain gue bisa tapi urusannya lapar
Sungguh sangat menyiksa, gue jadi tepar

Pingin makan ketoprak ama es teh manis
Pingin soto babat cuma bisa meringis
Gue liat jam baru jam delapan, sadis
Dzuhur aja belon apalagi maghrib

Bagaimana caranya ni laper dihilangin?

Sambil nunggu waktu jalan-jalan ke PIM
Nyari baju koko, peci ama kain
Lagi jalan-jalan ada cewek nyamperin
Ngajakin foto bareng bodinya (cin)

Iman gue diuji, doi ngajakin nongkrong
Kenapa hari gini? Ya Allah tolong
Kalau hari biasa pasti gue jabanin
Jangan gara-gara cewek, puasa dibatalin

Lapar haus hilang, birahi yang nongol
Harusnya tadi jangan jalan-jalan ke mall
Liat teh yang dingin ada di dalam botol
Gue liat jam baru jam tiga, oh no

Sampe lagi di rumah langsung nyetel TV
Liat orang ceramah, semoga gue ngerti
Jadi inget dosa, gue jadi ngeri
Gak mau ke neraka, ke surga belum pasti

Pindah-pindah saluran nyari suara azan
Perut udah gak tahan, rasanya mana tahan
Dan di atas meja macam-macam makanan
Mulai dari ayam bakar sampai kolak

Pisang, biji salak, macam-macam gorengan
Beraneka minuman dingin menggoda iman
Ya Tuhan, kapan ni azan dikumandangkan?
Nunggu satu menit rasanya satu bulan

Dan akhirnya azan pun berkumandang
Makan secukupnya jangan terlalu kenyang
Ingat nanti malam tarawih berjamaah
Sambil nyari cewek baru buat lebaran

My stomach's twisting, my throat is parched
I can barely stand it, I crave something cold
The smell of kolak is strong, the scent of palm fruit
Where's the sound of the drum? Why hasn't anyone struck it yet?

Man, after Suhoor I couldn't sleep
Scared I'd oversleep and miss Subuh prayer
After Subuh prayer, I finally slept
Woke up the next day, it was only seven

In the mornings, I usually have porridge for breakfast
Coffee with milk and kue cucur
But now, eh, I can't do that
Gotta endure hunger all day long

Can't get angry, gotta control my desires
Gotta control my words, my eyes and also that
I can handle the rest but the hunger
It's truly torturous, it's wearing me down

I want to eat ketoprak with sweet iced tea
I want soto babat, I can only grimace
I look at the clock, it's only eight, brutal
It's not even Dzuhur, let alone Maghrib

After finishing prayer, I'm lost on what to do
How can I get rid of this hunger?

While waiting, I take a walk to PIM
Looking for a koko shirt, a peci, and a sarong
While walking around, a girl approaches me
Asking for a photo together, her body (fine)

My faith is tested, she asks me to hang out
Why today? Oh Allah, please help
If it were any other day, I'd definitely go for it
Don't break my fast because of a girl

Hunger and thirst disappear, lust emerges
I shouldn't have gone to the mall
I see cold tea in a bottle
I look at the clock, it's only three, oh no

Watching a lecture, hoping I understand
Remembering my sins, I get scared
I don't want to go to hell, heaven is not certain

Flipping through channels searching for the sound of the adhan
My stomach can't take it anymore, I can't bear it
And on the table, there are all sorts of food
From grilled chicken to kolak

Bananas, biji salak, various fried foods
A variety of cold drinks tempting my faith
Oh Lord, when will the adhan be called?
Waiting one minute feels like a month

And finally, the adhan is called
Eat just enough, don't get too full
Remember tonight's Tarawih prayer in congregation
While looking for a new girl for Eid
